Open, use, protect.
That is the flow.

Cedar turns the wallet setup into a few familiar actions.

1
Create
Sign up with a passkey.

Use Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passkey. No password. No seed phrase to write down.

2
Use
Spend from Pocket.

Receive, send, and connect to dapps from one everyday wallet across supported networks.

3
Protect
Move savings to Vault.

Keep larger balances behind stronger approval when speed matters less than safety.

Fast when you are spending.
Slower when it should be safer.

Pocket is for daily use. Vault is for the crypto you want to protect.

Pocket

Your daily wallet
for active use.

Use Pocket for sends, payments, dapps, and small balances you move often.

  • Fast passkey approvals
  • Dapp connections
  • One Pocket across supported chains
Vault

Your protected wallet
for larger balances.

Use Vault for savings and higher-risk moves that deserve extra confirmation.

  • Trusted-phone approval
  • Recovery paths
  • Better for long-term holdings

Use the right screen
for the right moment.

Cedar works across web, extension, and mobile without feeling like three separate wallets.

Web

View and manage.

Check balances, activity, Pocket, and Vault from a larger screen.

  • Account overview
  • Pocket and Vault visibility
  • Action preparation
Extension

Connect to dapps.

Use Pocket with crypto apps without moving your savings wallet into every session.

  • Dapp connections
  • Pocket signing
  • Vault requests
Mobile

Approve what matters.

Use your trusted phone for higher-risk approvals and recovery settings.

  • Vault approval
  • Recovery setup
  • Trusted device control

Simple when it should be.
Careful when it matters.

Cedar keeps daily use easy while adding protection around the moments that need it.

Passkey, not password

Unlock and approve with the device flow you already know. No seed phrase-first setup.

Vault slows down risk

Larger balances can require trusted-phone approval, so one quick browser action is not enough.

Recovery has a path

If a device or key is lost, Cedar is designed to help you recover without giving custody to Cedar.

Common questions

Do I still need a seed phrase?
No. Cedar uses passkeys, so normal onboarding does not start with writing down a seed phrase.
What's the difference between Pocket and Vault?
Pocket is for everyday spending and dapps. Vault is for larger balances and higher-risk moves.
What happens if I lose a device or passkey?
Cedar is designed with recovery paths for lost devices, keys, or passkeys, without making Cedar your custodian.
Can I use Cedar with dapps and multiple chains?
Yes. Cedar supports dapp access and multichain use, including Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Base, and BSC.
Is Cedar self-custodial?
Yes. Cedar never holds your private keys or funds. Signing stays with you and your trusted devices.
When is Cedar launching?
Cedar is currently in private beta. Request access if you want to test Cedar or follow the launch.
